JB's Dudley march 1973 - I'm Squashed between my brother Arni & his mate Bob in the back of Pauls Mini 1275 gt as we rattle along the rough service road down the side of Pathfinders which leads to JB's club. I could see Paul's eyes in the rear view mirror, he was thin and bony with straggly blonde hair which reminded me of Catweazle but his car was the very essence of cool as the quadraphonic 8 track blasts out tracks from Meddle by Pink Floyd. Its crowded on the car park as the Black Country's Rock glitterati assemble to witness a performance by Canvey Islands finest Dr Feelgood and this was the first time I was to going to see a live band. Joining the back of the queue my heart beating with anticipation and fear as we shuffled forward the club drawing ever closer, the girls in front of me suddenly vanish and I'm at the entrance and extending my 5ft 10" frame (5"of that courtesy of my platform boots) to its full height I stepped forward. I hung my hair over my face to avoid eye contact with anyone who might see how young I was and deny me entry when a huge gnarled hand planted itself in the middle of my chest. As I come to a abrupt halt the owner of said hand growls "who the fuck am yo" in a broad Dudley accent. Looking up I came face to face with Jimmy The Con the Hells Angel doorman, opening my mouth to offer up some plausible explanation as to why I was there when a hand rests on my shoulder "Its aer kid". Jimmy looked behind me and his face softened "oroit Arni ow am ya long time no see" I'm sound Jim yerself" "I'm cool mate very cool" and with that he looked back at me and said "goo on in aer kid". That night was a night of many firsts for me some involving beer recreational cigarettes my head a Technicolor yawn and a toilet bowl , standing next to a guy at the bar who I thought was a flash bastard in his gold lame jacket (turned out to be Robert Plant and I didn't recognise him) but what it was really all about was the beginning of a lifelong love affair with Rock Music which continues today. So here I am 35 years later about to become lead singer of the coolest band I've been involved with so far, RULEBREAKER............. LETS ROCK

Lead Guitar

Phil may -

Spawn of Brian May and Dimebag Darrell - hence me being so damn sexy (and hairy-like animal) - Been playing since puberty - so about 5 years then ;o) .......heavily influenced by the late Randy Rhoads......... and later -Dimebag, Paul Gilbert and Steve Stevens. Must have 700+ gigs under my belt all over the UK and Europe. Well remembered shows include: London Astoria, Bloodstock Festival and Supporting Mortiis and Deathstars - One day I WILL be sponsored by Jackson Guitars!!!! KEEP IT METAL!

Bass

dougie oldfield -

Going against the "live fast, die young, leave a good-looking corpse" cliche, I went with the "grow old but never grow up, rock til you drop" attitude! As soon as I heard my parents play their old rock 'n' roll records on a beat up old stereo, I was hooked. Picking out the more up tempo discs, I soon moved onto the heavy stuff - old Quo, AC/DC, Ozzy - then '84 came crashing in bringing with it Crue, Guns 'n' Roses, Wasp and a bunch of other OTT, rock 'n' roll stars! Deciding that bass players looked the coolist I spent the next few years playing along to all my faves then jumped head first into my first band. Since then I have become a self-styed, tattooed, no nonsense, rock 'n' roll, lay-it-in-the-pocket BASS BASTARD!!!!

Drums & Backing vocals

Stu Power -

In a musical career that started before the war (the Marmite war of '73 - ask my mother!), I've played many different instruments in different styles, clocking up 200 or so gigs (even Bavarian Umpah) before settling on the tubs. Time spent spinning discs (made of vinyl and how big?!) as a rock DJ on the Hull biker scene prepared me for over 500 gigs in several rock bands in the Hull and Chesterfield areas. Heavily influenced by Peter Kay (garlic what??!!) I play in a style of a number of great drummers - too many to mention here!
